Julie Winter’s Site

What makes more sense after not writing a blog post or article for about 6 months than to write about the site itself instead of creating new content?? I designed this page about a year and a half ago (with the help of my cousin, Sara, shout-outs to you, girl!) with full intentions of it being my primary project outside of my job. I had zero actual plans of starting a business and figured I would just be working my new job as a Clinical Diet Tech, continue to help organize our monthly hard rock and metal nights at The Funhouse (a.k.a. The Crucible Project,) and keep on running merch for Winter’s Descent when they needed me. I thought I might start a few home projects, up my fitness game at The Barre Code and with all that going on, I’d have plenty to blog about and still enough time to do it. Enter Twist of Fate Productions. Turns out even when you start a business based on something you truly love and are passionate about, there’s a lot of real work involved. Honestly, sometimes I really wish I just had more time to plant a garden and take pictures of the progress or try new skin care products and review them or test out new recipes and document the process…

When I started to think about what I wanted to write about today I had so many half posts and articles started, I couldn’t even pick one. I gotta say though, I am really satisfied with my life today. So here’s to a newfound love for simplicity and finding inspiration in the everyday moments that make up a crazy life.
